A half day, several looks, one city β€” temples in the morning, Chinatown at night, and files sized for the platforms rather than a print lab. Bangkok and Phuket's Old Town give the widest range of backdrops per hour of travel.

Content creator Photoshoot FAQ

How long is a content creator photoshoot in Thailand?

Most sessions run between forty-five minutes and two hours. In Thailand the time of day matters more than the length: the sun rises and sets between roughly six and seven o'clock all year, the soft light lasts only a short while because the sun climbs fast, and by mid-morning heat and hard overhead light take over. An hour that starts at sunrise or ends at sunset usually gives more than two hours at noon. The photographer's packages on their profile say exactly what each length includes.

Can the photographer fly a drone for our content?

Only legally, and that takes paperwork. In Thailand every drone has to be registered with the NBTC (the telecoms regulator), drones with cameras also with the CAAT (civil aviation), and the operator needs third-party insurance. Flights are daylight-only, within sight, at least 30 metres from people, not over crowds, and not within nine kilometres of an airport without approval β€” which rules out the beaches around Phuket airport and much of northern Koh Samui. National parks and temples set their own rules, and the government has tightened and relaxed drone restrictions several times since 2025. Registration for visitors needs a Thai SIM and can take up to two weeks, so ask whether the photographer flies a registered drone rather than bringing your own.
